Ajo tribal yarn necklace
As I write this, under my blanket snuggled up between two cozy cats, the wind howls outside my apartment. Cold air is creeping in through the old windows, and I’m again reminded that I should caulk. Winter has hit New York. Below zero temperatures shocked my system from Monday on as the Arctic Vortex slipped down onto New England.
What better time to introduce a favorite that is both cheerfully colorful and cozy! This week, I’m dreaming of wrapping up in warm knitwear from Mawusi. Jane, the designer and maker behind Mawusi is a fellow New Yorker and knits the most lively accessories and clothes.

As Jane says, “Mawusi is for the contemporary individual who values that which is timeless and beautifully multifunctional; who understands and appreciates the unique nature of quality handmade pieces.”
